1. No data collected
FamilyVault collects no data. There is no account, no usage statistics and no advertising. The publisher has no access to your documents or to any information about you.
2. Everything stays on your phone
Your documents, your first name and your settings are stored only on this phone, encrypted. FamilyVault never connects to the Internet.
3. When your data leaves the phone
Only when you decide:
- sharing: the document is sent unencrypted to the app you choose;
- syncing: the document is sent encrypted to someone close;
- backup: an encrypted file is created, which you store wherever you like.
What happens to these files next depends on the app or place you send them to.
4. Erase everything
Settings › Erase everything removes your documents, your first name, the encryption keys and the PIN. Uninstalling FamilyVault also erases everything.
